Master of Public Health/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Coordinated Degree

The DVM/MPH coordinated degree program is offered through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (AUCVM) and the UAB School of Public Health (SOPH). MPH focus courses may be customized to the experience and needs of the student. Below is the MPH curriculum for this program. For information about the DVM curriculum, please click here.

Students must complete 30 credit hours in the School of Public Health in addition to the required DVM curriculum requirements. Twelve credit hours from the DVM curriculum are credited toward the MPH degree for a total of 42 MPH credit hours. Students may complete the MPH degree program totally online or through a mix of online and in class experiences.
